SRINAGAR
Three boys were drowned in different places of the valley. A police statement said on Monday.
A 25 years old boy Suhail Ahmad Najar son of Mohammad Yousuf resident of Nishat Srinagar was drowned in Nallah, Lidder,Islamabd, in Pahalgam. Later the body of the drowned boy was fished out at Sadow Padao, Pahalgam.
In another incident a 7-year old boy Shahid Ahmad Waza son of Manzoor Ahmad resident of Baliharan, Mirgund was drowned in Sukh Nallah at Baliharan Mirgund, Baramulla. Efforts are on to retrieve the body.
In another incident, a 16 year old boy Sajad Ahmad Bhat son of Abdul Rehman resident of Bugroo Khansahib was drowned while taking bath in an irrigation canal near Doniwara stop, Budgam, in Khansahib. The body was fished out from the canal.
