SRINAGAR
Three persons died and twelve others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley. A police statement said on Monday.
A Bus bearing registration number JKE/8902 hit a girl Rutba Rafiq daughter of Mohammad Rafiq Dar resident of Khashipora, HMT Srinagar at Shahtulpora, Bandipora. The girl died on spot. A case FIR number 194/2013 under section 279 RPC, 304 A has been registered in this regard.
A Tanker bearing registration number JK02X/6747 turned turtle and fell in gorge near Paney Matha, Zojilla in the jurisdiction of police station Sonamarg, resulting in on spot death of the driver Mohinder Singh son of Mohan Singh resident of Munasa Jammu.
An unidentified vehicle hit and injured a pedestrian Bilkeesa Akhter @ Nancy daughter of Ashour Gojri resident of Gujjer Mohalla, Khrew at Khrew, Awantipora. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Pampore for treatment, where she succumbed to her injuries. A case FIR No. 56/2013 has been registered in this regard.
A Motorcycle bearing registration number JK03/7738 driven by Aiyaz Ahmad Dar resident of Gopalpora hit and injured a pedestrian lady Zubaida Begum wife of Late Mohammad Iqbal Wani resident of New Qazibagh, Islamabad. The injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment.
A Maruti Car bearing registration number JK04/6540 hit and injured a cyclist Muzafar Ahmad Najar son of Mohammad Ismail resident of Kach Razger, Khansahib at Bygroo Crossing, Budgam, in Khansahib. The injured has been shifted to hospital for treatment.
A Motorcycle bearing registration number JK01L/6094 driven by Faizan Mushtaq son of Mushtaq Ahmad Shah resident of Buchpora, Srinagar, turned turtle at Sonargund, Budgam resulting in injuries to the Motorcyclist and two pillion riders. The injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment.
A Mini Bus bearing registration number JK04A/7962 skidded off the road near Chewa, Budgam, resulting in injuries to one passenger Bilal Ahmad Dar son of Ghulam Ahmad resident of Russo Beerwah. The injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment.
A Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK03B/2953 and a Santro Car bearing registration number JK01K/3637 collided at Charsoo, Awantipora, resulting in injuries to four persons. Bisma Yousuf daughter of Mohammad Yousuf, Hafeeza wife of Mohammad Yousuf, Mohammad Yousuf Dar son of Habibullah residents of Athwajan, Srinagar and Aneesa daughter of Manzoor Ahmad resident of Frestabal, Pampore who were boarding the Santro Car were injured in the mishap. The injured have been shifted to Bone and Joints Hospital, Srinagar for treatment. Both the vehicles were seized, a case FIR number 78/2013 under section 279, 337, 427 RPC stands registered in this regard.
A Tipper bearing registration number JK01S/3640 hit a Motorcycle bearing registration number JK01S/4059 at Athwajan Bypass, Srinagar, resulting in injuries to two persons Aadil Hussain Khan son of Abdul Ahad resident of Hardo Shora, Tangmarg and Tariq Ahmad Dar son of Mohammad Sultan resident of Alamdar colony, Srinagar. Both the injured were shifted to SHMHS, Hospital Srinagar for treatment.
