SRINAGAR

One person died and six others were injured in different road accidents across the valley. A police statement said on Friday.

A Tipper bearing registration number JK01A/5552 hit a seven years old boy Aleem Altaf Malla son of Altaf Ahmed Malla resident of Khanpora at Khanpora, in Baramulla, resulting in his on spot death. Baramulla Police has registered a case in this regard.

 Meanwhile, an Auto load carrier bearing registration number JK04/7023 hit and injured a pedestrian Ali Mohammad Bangroo son of Abdul Rehman resident of Tengbagh Eidgah at Eidgah, in Safakadal, Srinagar. The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment.

In another accident, a Sumo bearing registration number JK10/1768 on way from Srinagar to Magam hit and injured 75 years old Fazia Begum wife of Ghulam Mohammad Kaloo resident of Narbal at main market Narbal, in Magam. The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for treatment.

In an another accident, a 12th class student, Shabir Ahmad Khan son of Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din resident of Bazipora, Ajas of Higher Secondary School Ajas  was injured when he fell from a bus at Bazipora Ajas. The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment.

Meanwhile, two pedestrians, 17 years old Insha daughter of Abdul Rashid resident of Bemina and 16 years old Anam daughter of  Farooq Ahmad Mir resident of Safa Kadal  were injured when a  motorcycle bearing registration Number JK01/0573 hit them near Baghat. The motorcyclist also received injuries in the accident. All the injured were shifted to Bones and joint Hospital Srinagar where from Insha and Mutaib were referred to SKIMS Soura for further treatment.

A motorcycle bearing registration number Jk09/711 met with an accident at Janbazpora, Baramulla, resulting in injuries to motorcyclist and a pillion. Both the injured were shifted to Hospital for treatment.
