SRINAGAR: The Chief Justice’s Secretariat of the High Court of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh at Srinagar has officially issued Notification No. 1509 of 2026/Psy, dated July 9, 2026, announcing the interview schedule for shortlisted candidates vying for the post of Driver Grade-II (now designated as Transport Assistant-II).
This selection process follows the OMR-based written examination conducted on June 27, 2026, across designated centers in Jammu and Srinagar, pursuant to the original recruitment Advertisement Notification No. 03 of 2025/Psy issued on June 26, 2025.
A total of 71 candidates have successfully secured spots on the shortlist based on their examination merit, as compiled under Annexure-“A”. The recruitment administration has divided the interview schedule geographically to accommodate regional applicants. Jammu-based candidates are directed to report on July 18, 2026 (Saturday), at the High Court Complex located in Janipur, Jammu. Meanwhile, Kashmir-based candidates will undergo their evaluations on July 20, 2026 (Monday), at the High Court Complex in Srinagar. For all listed individuals, the mandatory reporting time has been strictly set for 9:00 AM.
As structured by the order of MK Sharma, Principal Secretary to the Chief Justice, the notification outlines stringent compliance requirements for the interview day. Shortlisted applicants must independently monitor this release, as the administration will not distribute individual interview call letters. Appearing at the venue does not guarantee final selection or employment, as all candidatures remain strictly subject to a thorough review of structural eligibility and qualification credentials. Any identified document deficiency or failure to meet background prerequisites at the time of verification will result in immediate disqualification from the interview room.
Candidates must present a validated proof of identity, accepting documents such as a PAN card, Driving License, Passport, or an identity card placeholder. Additionally, candidates must produce all original technical certificates, academic mark sheets, diplomas of prescribed qualification, category certificates, valid driving licenses, and domicile certificates, accompanied by a comprehensive set of photocopies. Failure to produce these original testimonials on-site will result in immediate forfeiture of candidature. Official correspondence regarding this notification under endorsement No. 1249-57/Psy-621 has been forwarded to the Registrar General of the High Court of JK and Ladakh, alongside the Secretary to Justice for judicial record.
