Police spokesperson Saturday afternoon said a 17-year-old girl committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at her home in North Kashmir’s Kupwara.
“A girl (name with held) resident of Kalarooch, Kupwara consumed some poisonous substance at her home,” the spokesperson said.
She was shifted to District Hospital Kupwara for treatment where she breathed her last. Kupwara police has registered a case in this regard, the spokesperson said.
