Jammu
A total of 21230 youth holding professional degrees are registered with DE &CC as unemployed in the state of Jammu and Kashmir since 2012.
Presently, 15035 youth, 9858 in Kashmir and 5177 in Jammu, are unemployed having Education degree; 3926 youth, 2020 in Jammu and 1906 in Kashmir, having Engineering degree; 1250 youth, 986 in Kashmir and 264 in Jammu, having Medical degree; 847 youth, 598 in Kashmir and 249 in Jammu, having Agriculture degree and 172 youth, 146 in Kashmir and 26 in Jammu, having Veterinary degree are unemployed.
The information was released by the state government in state legislative assembly under an un-starred question asked by B R Kundal.
