The bullet-riddled body of former SPO, who was abducted by unknown gunmen along with two other persons was recovered from south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Friday late evening.
An official said that the bullet-riddled body of the former SPO identified as Basharat Ahmad was recovered from Nikloora village.
Basharat was among the three persons abducted by unknown gunmen earlier in the day from Reban village.
Later two Riyaz Ahmad Wagay, son of Ab Hameed and Zahid Ahmad son of Ali Mohammad were set free.
During last week as many as nine persons were abducted from the district. Of them, seven were later set free while two persons of Safanagri were killed.
