Jammu and Kashmir Police on Friday claimed to have solved a kidnapping case of a girl in shortest possible time and arrested the accused involved in the crime.
The police spokesman said that after receiving a complaint from the parents of a minor girl (name withheld) that their minor daughter was kidnapped, Police station Nowgam acted swiftly and a team led by SHO Police Station Nowgam under the supervision of SDPO Pantha Chowk started an investigation.
“After strenuous efforts by the police, the said minor girl was recovered from the possession of the kidnapper and was handed over to her parents,” the spokesman said.
In this regard case FIR No. 34/2018 under section 363, 109 RPC stands registered in Police Station Nowgam.
The police spokesman said the accused kidnapper Bashir Ahmad Para was arrested and further investigation is in progress.
