Three residential houses and a high-tension power supply were damaged on Friday due to landslides in Rajarwani area of north Kashmir’s Uri town.

According to locals, the landslide occurred on Friday afternoon resulting in damage to three residential houses and a 33, 000 KV power transmission line in Rajarwani, Uri.

Earlier, rains and strong winds damaged orchards and many residential houses in south and central Kashmir areas, reports said.

Many structures were also damaged in south Kashmir’s Islamabad and Kulgam districts due to strong winds.

Reports of strong winds have also reached from the Budgam district of central Kashmir.
