With the incessant rains coupled with windstorm creating havoc across several Kashmir districts, weather office has predicted improvement in weather from Saturday afternoon.

However, there will be no significant change in weather for the next 10-12hrs, a MeT official said on Friday.
Meanwhile, the weather office has also issued weather advisory for hilly areas.
“In view of the adverse weather, freezing cold & chances of landslide and avalanche, are possible,” an official said while advising that travelling through passes and hills during next 24hrs should be avoided and that agricultural and horticultural activities should also be suspended.
