Budgam Police traced the kidnapped person in injured condition in Pakherpora who is being treated in the hospital. A land dispute with his relatives is believed to be behind the cause of this stage-managed kidnapping. A police statement said on Friday.
Police said that some unknown masked men kidnapped 50 years old Ali Mohammad Wagey a Forest guard posted at Nilnagh, Chadoora son of Ghulam Mohammad resident of Kanidajan, Pakherpora Chari-Sharief from his residential house.
Police swiftly launched a search operation and traced the kidnapped person from an open field away from his house with serious injuries. He was shifted to Hospital for treatment. The police statement added.
Char-i-Sharief police registered a case in this regard and during investigation, the statement of the kidnapped person was recorded who identified the kidnappers. A land dispute between him and his relatives is believed to be the reason behind his kidnapping. Police said that his adversaries had stage managed the kidnapping to intimidate him to coerce a settlement. Police has launched the manhunt for the kidnappers.
