SRINAGAR: Abhishek Bachchan, the son of Bollywood’s grand-daddy is planning flying to Kashmir for shooting his film Manmarziyan, reports suggest. This will be his first film after more than two years of hiatus.

Makers of the film were earlier negotiating with Malayalam actor Dulquer Salmaan for the role. But it has finally gone to Abhishek.

Reports appearing in the Bollywood specific media suggest that the actor and the crew is expected to land in Srinagar late January so that it can keep its date with its February schedule. The idea is to capture the snowfall.

The film is being produced by Aanand L Rai will be directed by Anurag Kashyap. Others in the caste line include Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal. “It is the first time when Kashyap will be directing a rom-com as he is generally known for making dark and edgy films,” an entertainment site reported.

Taapsee Pannu who will is being cast against Bacchan Jr has recently won the Extraordinary Impact Award (Female) at the Zee Cine Awards Nite for her dancing and acting capabilities in Judwaa 2.
