SRINAGAR: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Friday arrested a Patwari posted at Watrihal Halqa in Khansahib area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000.
Officials said the accused, identified as Bashir Ahmad Dar, was apprehended by an ACB team while allegedly receiving the bribe.
Dar has been taken into custody, while further proceedings in the case are underway, officials said.
