Former Deputy Chief Minister and senior Peoples Democratic Party leader Muzafar Hussain Beigh Wednesday alleged that traders community in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district are being harassed by  local administration and police without any reason.

He told CNS that shopkeepers in town are being arrested and harassed which could further alienate people of the district.

“I appeal local administration to take traders community into confidence and hold dialogue with them so that things could be resolved amicably,” Beigh said.

Beigh condemned the arrest spree and asked the administration to stop harassing people especially traders community.
