Admission is open in constituent colleges of Cluster University of Jammu/Srinagar, University of Jammu/Kashmir, autonomous colleges viz. Government College for Women, Parade Ground Jammu, Islamia College of Science and Commerce, Srinagar and Government Degree College, Baramulla.

Applicants are required to submit their preference for colleges while filling out the admission form. The selection will be made on the basis of the score in CUET-UG. Those candidates who have not appeared in the entrance exam will be given a fair opportunity to take admission in the Late Entry Round for the leftover seats after admission for CUET entrants is closed. Their selection will be based on merit obtained in the 12th class.

There is no application fee. The application process is online. Candidates will be required to appear in person to verify the original documents as and when notified by the University/College. The candidates are advised to keep the login credentials such as login ID and password confidential. These credentials cannot be changed or edited under any circumstances.

The preference will be provisionally allocated to a candidate considering the programme merit list, category and availability of seats. Once a seat has been allocated in a particular round, the candidate must ‘Accept’ the allocated seat on his dashboard. Then, visit the college for seeking admission as per the counselling schedule. Inactivity/no-action will be taken as non-acceptance to the Allocated Seat. It will be treated as a decline to the provisionally Allocated Seat and the candidate will no longer be able to participate in subsequent rounds of counselling.

After physical verification, the college will either ‘Approve’ or ‘Reject’ the provisionally allocated seat of the candidate. For approved candidates, the payment link on the student dashboard will become active.
