Three years ago when his father, the late Mohammad Afzal Guru was hanged in Tihar jail, Ghalib Guru made sombre TV appearances, standing outside the Supreme Court in Delhi along with his benighted mother.
This time around, the Guru scion is back in headlines. Ghalib has scored a whopping 95% marks in the 10th standard examinations whose results were announced yesterday. The news took social media by storm as hundreds of users from Valley lauded the young Guru for the securing remarkable percentage.
He received rousing reaction for his “stellar” performance from several quarters. Ghalib secured 474 marks out of 500. He has secured ‘A1’ grade in all five subjects. In an interview in 2013, Ghalib had said that he wanted to be a doctor.
