At a time when sun is shining over Srinagar, Kargil town is shivering with the season’s coldest day Monday
As temperature dipped to minus 15.2 degree Celsius in Kargil town, it became the lowest temperature zone recorded anywhere in the state so far this season, MeT said.
While Leh recorded minus 14.0, the temperatures recorded in Srinagar, Pahalgam and Gulmarg were minus 3.6, 5.8 and 7.2 respectively.
MeT has predicted dry weather in Kashmir for next 24 hours.
