The agriculture department of government of Jammu and Kashmir Saturday organized one-day awareness camp in Uri town of Baramulla district in northern part of Kashmir.
The motive of the meeting was to aware the farmers about the possibilities that they can explore in growing vegetables.
“There is slightly higher temperature in the Uri area and possibility of growing good vegetable crop, an official said, “The farmers were made aware of the possibilities that they could explore growing good vegetable crop and earn their living.”
Around twenty farmers from Boniyar and Uri areas were present in the awareness camp.
Officials of agricultural department including Chief Agricultural Officer Baramulla were present in the camp.
