Moving ahead with the government-formation process in Jammu and Kashmir, State BJP’s top brass and newly-elected MLA’s are camping in New Delhi from last couple of days for their possible future roles perceived by the party high command for them.
On Wednesday one of the top BJP leader from New Delhi told KNS that State BJP leadership including Jugal Kishoor, Dr Nirmal Singh, and most of the newly elected MLA’s are camping in New Delhi from last couple of days for their possible future roles in the Jammu and Kashmir government.
Hectic parleys were on from last two days at BJP’s headquarter New Delhi between top BJP and state BJP leaders over the possible future roles to the Newly elected MLA’s.
“I can tell you that most of the state leaders are camping here from last two days and in this regard there were series of meetings between top brass and state BJP leaders on the possible future roles of the prominent party figures of Jammu and Kashmir.
Meanwhile sources said that the state BJP leaders have shifted to Delhi in the wake of reports that some top BJP leaders are appeasing the party high command for getting important roles.
“All the party leaders want to be accommodated in the government, but it is the party’s parliamentary board which will meet in the coming days to discuss the issue,” sources said and added that Dr Nirmal Singhs name has been finalized for the post of Deputy Chief Minister.
Meanwhile sources said that top state leaders on Wednesday met BJP Chief Amit Shah and stressed him to end deadlock over government formation. “The state leaders want that new government will be sworn-in on 12 of this month in the presence of top central leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Party Chief Amit shah,” sources said.
Meanwhile sources said that BJP has decided that after the Raj Sabha members will be elected on February 7, the party will call on Governor N.N vohara and stake claim to form government with PDP.
