Pakistan Kashmir Committee member and president Muslim League (z) Muhammad Ijaz ul Haq said that Pakistan will “always stand by Kashmiris in their struggle”.

Reports said that Haq expressed these views while talking in a Pakistan TV talk show: ‘Kashmir Magazine”’ ahead of Kashmir solidarity day which is being observed across Pakistan on February 5.

Ijaz ul Haq, who is also the son of former president of Pakistan Gen Muhammad Zia ul Haq, showed his deep concern over the miseries of Kashmiri people and said that this long pending issue should be resolved now according to the UN Security Council Resolutions.

“Whole Pakistani nation is on one page on the principled stand of right to self-determination of Kashmiri people,” he said.

Terming the Pathankot incident as unfortunate, Haq said that such type of incidents should not become hurdles in the way of ongoing dialogue process.
