Despite passing of over three years, Fire and Emergency Services department is yet to declare the final list of posts, advertised way back in November 2013, causing immense hardships to the ‘job seekers’ in the department.
The ‘aggrieved candidates’ lamented that their written exam was conducted in June 2014 after which fitness test was also done with but authorities are not making result public.
The posts advertised by the department were for ‘fireman’ and ‘junior assistant’.
Raising slogans against the department, the aspirants said that ‘justice’ should be delivered to them.
Repeated attempts from Kashmir Life to contact Director General Fire and Emergency Services proved futile.
