Panic and chaos griiped the South Kashmir’s Tral town when suspected militants Wednesday evening fired several rounds in air. Local sources told Kashmir Life over phone that they heard gunshots and ran away for safer places. However police sources confirmed to Kashmir Life that they were the militants.
It is worth to mention that Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has to visit the town tomorrow. Sources said that firing incident took place just 200 meters away from the venue where Omar is scheduled to address the public meeting.
Police sources further said that police and security forces cordoned the entire town and search is on to nab the militants.
