President Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) Dr Nisar-ul-Hassan has demanded exemplary punishment for Mushtaq Ahmad Peer the former BOPEE chairman allegedly involved in CET paper leakage scam.

Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS), the DAK president said: “The selections made in CET-2012 should be declared as null and void.  Besides that there should a probe by a n independent commission into the whole paper leakage scam.”

Dr Nisar-ul-Hassan maintained that the scandal has brought disrepute and disgrace to entire sacrosanct institution of medical professional. “We have lost the sanctity and dignity of this sacred profession. We have lost sheen of this profession. We have lost everything,’ he told KNS.

The DAK president further stated that these backdoor entries in to the elite professions were at the cost of meritorious students who for no fault of theirs were dropped. “These aspiring hard working students have burnt midnight’s oil to fulfill their dreams, but unfortunately they got shattered because of these devils. Byway of this scandal nation has lost its real talent. Right from the very day the list was out in 2012, the students were yelling and chest beating against the list as underachievers/underperformers in premedical classes were among the top rankers,” he said.
