The allegations leveled by several candidates that the recruitment for the posts of Panchayat Ghar Yojna Coordinator (PGYC) was not fair has created controversy in district administration in Baramulla.
The reports received by Kashmir News Service (KNS), the post of the Panchayat coordinator was required to be filled at Dangiwacha and that the authorities invite the applications for the post. The candidates who have applied for the post allege that the person having lowest academic qualification has been recruited for the post and that he department did not make the tentative or the final list of the selected candidate final.
The reports further state that the appearing candidates later filed Right to Information (RTI) application that revealed that the candidate who has got lowest in the academic qualification has been put on number 1st. The dropped candidates accuse that the political interference is involved in the recruitment of the post.
The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla when contacted said that the selected candidate has got highest points in the personal interview due to which the candidate has been selected for the post
