SRINAGAR: The Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences (AIAS) Foundation is a nonprofit organisation in the USA dedicated to advancing the global community of intellectual property through partnerships, professional training, and education.

Scholarships from the AIAS Foundation are open to both international and national students at the undergraduate and graduate levels, covering all fields of study at the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences in the USA.

The deadline for the application process is May 31, 2024.

To be eligible for consideration in this programme, students must enrolled as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited university or college. They should maintain a minimum GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale.

Citizenship status is not a requirement; however, non-US citizens awarded a scholarship must not be listed on the “Specifically Designated Nationals” terrorist lookout list in accordance with Federal law.

Individuals affiliated with the AIAS Foundation Board, staff, or significant supporters contributing a minimum of $1,000 will not be considered for the scholarship.

Educational institutions must be officially recognised by the respective national accrediting bodies. Previous scholarship recipients are ineligible for consideration. Students are required to demonstrate strong English language proficiency.

To submit the application, candidates are required to provide the following documents:
A personal statement spanning up to two pages, containing: details about their educational background and how it aligns with enhancing the gaming industry.
A reflection on their involvement in service, leadership, character, and any financial considerations. Two up-to-date, signed letters of recommendation.

Recommendations should be sourced from colleagues or faculty within the applicant’s current academic programme, administration, or faculty members’ familiar with the applicant individually.

These letters should highlight the applicant’s potential to positively impact the gaming industry through their character, service, or leadership capabilities.

For student applicants: an online transcript, proof of enrollment, and for nominations of young professionals: evidence of current employment.
