Awami Ittihaad Party (AIP) President and MLA Langate Er Rashid Thursday announced the second list of his party candidates contesting upcoming assembly elections.
According to the list Dr Bari Naik has been given mandate from Homshalibugh, Khalil Naik from Wachi,Mohammad Sofi Iqbal from Pampore ,Parvaiz Jamal from Sonwar and Ajaz Ahmad Sofi from Handwara.
Rashid himself is going to fight from Langate, his home constituency.
Speaking to media persons, AIP Patron stated that people should vote for positive change and a party that represents their aspirations and claimed that AIP meets all the criterion of being pro-people party as displayed by its history.
“I condemn the cold bloodied murder of two innocent youth by Army and it is high time that Central Government should deliver justice if it wants any betterment on ground,” Rashid said while reacting to the recent Chattergam killings. “NC, PDP have given nothing to Kashmir and masses should use their vote in a sagacious manner in upcoming elections,” he added.
AIP also declared Majid Banday as its chief Spokesperson.
