Air India Express Pilot Dies After Operating Srinagar to Delhi Flight

   

SRINAGAR: An Air India Express pilot passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest at Delhi airport on Wednesday evening, shortly after completing a flight from Srinagar.

As per media reports, the pilot, in his late 30s, had safely operated the Srinagar-Delhi service but began to feel uneasy after landing. He reportedly complained of chest pain and was immediately taken to a hospital, where he was declared dead.

Air India Express confirmed the incident and expressed grief over the loss. “We deeply regret the loss of a valued colleague due to a medical condition. Our thoughts are with the family during this time. We are extending all possible assistance and request privacy as authorities carry out due procedures,” the airline said in a statement.

The airline also urged against speculation and said it was cooperating with all concerned departments.
