Srinagar

After remaining suspended for almost 24 hours, air traffic resumed at Srinagar International Airport on Saturday.

Earlier, all the flights to and fro from the airport were cancelled due to inclement weather.

Reports said that flight operations started at the airport today after the improvement in visibility at the runway.

“Only five out of the 24 scheduled flights were able to operate during afternoon hours when the runway was cleared of snow and made operational,” an official said.
