SRINAGAR: A private aircraft crashed into a hillside in Chhattisgarh’s Jashpur district on Monday, with authorities fearing casualties, Hindustan Times reported.

Visuals from the site showed thick smoke and flames rising from the wreckage located in the Jashpur–Narayanpur region. The exact number of occupants onboard the ill-fated aircraft was not immediately known.
Officials have not yet confirmed how many people were on the aircraft at the time of the crash. The condition of those onboard also remains unclear.
