Proposed Srinagar Water Supply Disruption Postponed

   

SRINAGAR: The Water Works Division Srinagar under the Government of Jammu and Kashmir has postponed the proposed shutdown of water supply from the Sindh Power Canal that was scheduled for April 21 and 22, 2026.

According to an official order issued by the Executive Engineer, the shutdown has been deferred due to unavoidable circumstances and certain technical issues. The authorities have stated that new dates for the shutdown will be announced separately.

The department expressed regret over the inconvenience caused to the public and urged residents to remain updated for further announcements.
