All Jammu and Kashmir Student Union on Tuesday termed NIA’s summon to Kashmir University Student, Aala Fazili, as “highly unfortunate”.
AJKSU in a statement said that students of Kashmir are politically mature and cannot keep stiff upper lip, at a time, when scholar is kept behind bars.
“If Aala Fazili a KU scholar is not immediately released it will act as a fuel to new student uprising and the state govt as well as central will be directly responsible for the outcome,” it said.
“We as a student’s body insist upon the govt to shun hard behaviour towards students, so that they are not forced to take any extreme step. We demand immediate release of KU scholar and insist NIA against issuing summons to any other student,” the spokesperson said.
