All Haj Flights from Jammu Kashmir Cancelled Till May 14

   

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Haj Committee on Saturday announced the cancellation of all chartered Haj flights scheduled up to May 14, 2025, citing the prevailing situation in the region as the reason.

In a notification, the committee stated, “In continuation to this office notification dated 09-05-2025, it is to intimate that in view of the prevailing situation, all chartered Haj flights which were scheduled up to 14-05-2025 stand cancelled.”

The committee has advised pilgrims to remain patient and await further instructions, assuring that the revised flight schedule for alternate arrangements will be communicated promptly through official channels.

The decision comes amid heightened tensions across Jammu and Kashmir, affecting both civil aviation and routine administration.

The Government of India has also announced the temporary suspension of all civil flight operations at 32 airports across northern and western India from May 9 to 14, 2025.

Pilgrims and their families have been urged to stay in touch with official communication platforms for timely updates regarding their travel.
