PDP while reacting to the recent statements of NC and Congress that the party is appeasing BJP for Power, Thursday stated that the party has its own vision and track record to channelize the aspirations of the people of the state.
PDP chief spokesman Naeem Akhtar told KNS that the only reason the party came into existence was to represent the aspirations of the people of the state and safeguard their interests at large. ”Whether it was the coalition of NC-BJP or the Congress- NC, NC has always used alliance for the survival of Abdullah family in power.”
Akhtar added that PDP is seeking ‘decisive’ mandate from the people of the state as has been seen in other states like UP,Tamil Nadu,Rajastan, Madya Pradesh where people took the strong decision to make strong government that can fight for the rights within the union.
Reacting to the recent statement of Congress that PDP is trying to appease BJP, PDP said, “There is no Question of any appeasement as we don’t feel that it is anybody except the people of Jammu and Kashmir who must make or break the governments.”
