Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Thursday expressed deep shock and grief over the demise of Mohammad Yaseen Shah, senior National Conference leader and former legislator, who passed away at his residence in Nishat today.

In a condolence message issued here, Bukhari described the deceased as a thoroughly gentle and a great human being who always strived for mitigation of peoples sufferings to the best of his capabilities.

“JKAP expresses solidarity with the bereaved family at this hour of grief and pray for the eternal peace to the departed soul. Also on behalf of my own family, I, condole the demise of Shah Saheb and express my solidarity with the Shah and Punzoo families who have loss a great soul,” Bukhari added.

He said his demise has caused a huge void in his family and among his friends, relatives, acquaintances and the people. “Besides being a true representative of the people, late Shah Saheb was noble person who will be remembered fondly. I once again convey my heartfelt condolence to the members of the bereaved family and pray to Almighty Allah to grant strength and solace to them to bear the irreparable loss,” the JKAP president observed.
