SRINAGAR: Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, president of Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party, on Thursday expressed concern over a possible shortage of LPG and other fuels in view of the ongoing conflict in the Middle East and urged authorities to ensure adequate stocks of essential supplies ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr.

Bukhari emphasised the need for immediate measures to maintain sufficient reserves of LPG, petrol and other essential commodities.
“Authorities must act now to ensure that there is an adequate stock of LPG, petrol and other essential supplies for the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr,” the Apni Party president said.
He also stressed that the concerned departments must remain vigilant and fully prepared to ensure that people do not face any shortage of essential items on what he described as an “important and blessed occasion”.
