Online booking of helicopter tickets for Amarnathji Yatra 2014 will start March 17. The Board has inked an agreement with Pawan Hans Limited and Global Vectra Helicorp Ltd for providing heli-services on the Neelgrath(Baltal)-Panjtarni-Neelgrath(Baltal) sector and Himalayan Heli Services Pvt Ltd for Pahalgam-Panjtarni-Pahalgam sector.
Navin K Choudhary, SASB Chief Executive Officer said the bookings will start on the respective websites of the air carriers. The fairs were fixed through competitive bidding.
A one way ticket for Neelgrath (Baltal)-Panjtarni and Pahalgam-Panjtarni sector will cost Rs1950/- and Rs 4190/-, respectively. Those securing tickets will not require Advance Registration as their tickets will be pre-registered and will be considered as permits. However, they will have to carry Compulsory Health Certificate issued by authorised Doctor / Institutes which have been notified by their respective state governments.
