SRINAGAR: Police have identified most of the injured admitted to the twin hospitals in Srinagar and Jammu. Eight of the injured have been shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar and 17 injured have been shifted to SMGS Hospital Jammu.

The injured admitted in SKIMS  have been identified as (1) Chand Pati Devi (Age about 45 years) wife of Silla Matfi resident of Denapore Sultanpure (2) Satesh Rawal (Age about 32 years) son of Satpal resident of Panipat Haryana, (3) Depakar Dass (Age about 25 years) son of Late Bipinder Dass resident of Asaam Ghawhati (4) Narish Dudeja (Age about 39 years) son of Shri Om Prekash resident of Laerual Haryana, (5)  Sutvinder Tewari (Age about 46 years) son of Radha Krishan resident of Gawalyar M.P, (6) Vijay Kumar (Age about 57 years) son of Sooraj Narayan resident of Sarfa Bihar, (7) Chetan Mishra (Age about 35 years) son of Rajender Mishra resident of Fariadabad Haryana and (8) Devi Singh (Age about 45) son of Durga Ram resident of Shimla Himachal.

Three attendants with the injured persons in SKIMS are (1) Ganesh Das son of Gopal Das resident of Assam, (2) Vijay son of Gopal Das resident of Assam and (3) Haminder Kumar son of Preetam Lal resident of Karnal Haryana.

The injured intending pilgrims admitted in SMGS Hospital Jammu are (1) Rajat Kumar (age about 27 years) son of Vijay Chouralia resident of Bihar, (2) Dheeraj Kumar (about 35) son of Rajinder Kumar resident of Ghaziabad, (3) Surinder Singh (about 25 years) son of Hari Singh resident of Panipath Haryana, (4) Dinesh Singh (about 25 years) son of Bhawani Singh resident of Rajasthan, (5) Rachit Sharma (about 27) son of M.L Sharma resident of Delhi, (6) Chander Prakash son of Kamal Sharma resident of Indoor, (7) Baby Devi (about 50 years) wife of Dinchen resident of Bihar, (8) Rekha Devi (about 60) wife of Sat Guru Sharma resident of Patna Bihar, (9) Giri Raj Tomal (about 27) son of Suresh Singh resident of Gwalior M.P, (10) Hari Om Sharma (about 33) son of Sia Ram Sharma resident of Bharatpur Rajasthan, (11) Gori Shanker Sharma (about 38) son of Fateh Shanker resident of Bharatpur Rajasthan, (12) Pankaj Khuswa (about 33) son of Gajan singh resident of Gwalior MP, (13) Vipal Loshi (about 22) son of Dilip Loshi resident of M.P Indore, (14) Ranjeet Kumar (about 27) son of Sukh Dev Chowdery resident of Bihar, (15) Ravinder singh (about 36) son of Raguveer Singh  resident of Modinagar U.P, (16) Shishupal (about 35) son of Dhanpat resident of Raj​asthan and (17) Gokup Chand Saini (about 44) son of Ghan Sham Saini resident of Rajasthan.

The ill fated SRTC bus carrying almost 43 pilgrims from Jammu to Amarnath lost control while approaching a curve and fell into a deep gorge. So far 16 are dead and 25 are injured.

Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh this evening visited SKIMS Soura to enquire about the health of Yatris injured in a tragic bus accident near Ramsoo on Jammu-Srinagar highway.

Minister for Health and Medical Education, Bali Bhagat, Minister for Education, Syed Altaf Bukhari and Minister of State for Health, Aseia Naqash visited SKIMS to enquire about the condition of injured Yatris.

Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Baseer Ahmed Khan, Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Farooq Ahmed Lone and other concerned senior officers also accompanied the Ministers to SKIMS.

Deputy Chief Minister and the Ministers was briefed by the doctors attending the injured about their health condition and the treatment being provided to them.

The Ministers asked directed hospital administration to extend best-possible treatment to those injured in the accident and provide specialized treatment to those injured seriously.
