Paying rich tributes to the slain youth in Tral, Hurriyat (G) chairman Syed Ali Geelani said that youth lay their lives to end the age-old slavery of their nation, putting a huge responsibility on our shoulders to honor these sacrifices and take the movement to its logical end.
According to his spokesman, Geelani accused authorities for creating appalling situations in state and said that they have set forth their strategy and are looking for excuses to create 90’s like situation in state to justify the use of the force against the people.
On the direction of the Geelani, spokesman said Tehreek-e-Hurriyat delegation comprising Bashir Ahmad Qureshi, Umar Aadil Dar, Sajad Ahmad Pala, Sajad Ahmad and others visited Tral and Pulwama and participated in the funeral and also they spoke on the occasion.
Geelani in his statement has blamed India for its rigid and stubborn approach and said that their insensitivity and unconcern is the sole reason for this unabated bloodshed. “They mercilessly are killing our youth and on one pretext or the other and with their brute force are pushing youth to wall.”
Referring to Kashmir issue, Geelani said that it is a political and humane issue and as such military might or coercive measures won’t solve this.
