On the 4thday of the ongoing Amarnath Yatra, 13,936 Yatris paid obeisance at Holy Cave. Till date 44,673 Yatris had darshan of the Ice Lingam at the Holy Cave, an official spokesperson said Sunday evening.
Meanwhile, 4100 slots were released by the CEO for On-Spot Registration at various Counters on Sunday for the Yatra commencing on 7thJuly.
Further 4550 number of slots will be available at various Counters on Monday the 6thJuly for the commencement of Yatra on 8thJuly 2015 from the two Access Control Gates at Baltal and Chandanwari. The slots are available on first come first serve basis.
The Yatris have been advised to undertake the Yatra on the respective date of registration to avoid any inconvenience. The intending Yatris who have not yet registered have been advised to undertake advance registration which closes eight days prior to intended date of commencement of Yatra from the two Access Control Gates at Baltal and Chandanwari, the statement said.
Meanwhile, the CEO advised the Yatris to follow “the Do’s & Don’ts” issued by the Shrine Board during the course of Yatra and come well prepared by carrying woolen clothing, raincoat, sports shoes etc.
