Police in its drive against the drug peddlers, Sunday arrested three peddlers and recovered huge quantity of prescriptions drugs from their possession in Pulwama.
On a tip off, a police party of police station Kakapora during the Naka checking at Kakpora bridge intercepted a Zen vehicle bearing registration number 7422/JKO1C. “On checking of the vehicle, huge quantity of prescription drugs was recovered. The recovery including 140 Rexcop bottles, 50 bottles Biorex, 80 LUIPINOR injection, 66 CALMPOSE injection and 100 water tube. The peddlers who were transporting these drugs have been arrested and were identified as Danish Nazir, Imran Nazir and Ummer Feroz. Kakpora police has registered a case FIR Number 191/2015 under section 8/22 NDPS in this regard,” a police statement said this evening.
