After three days Amarnath Yatra resumed on Baltal route as a fresh batch of 2200 pilgrims left the Baltal base camp to cave on Saturday morning, officials said.

“The pilgrimage is being resumed on Baltal route after three days of Suspension due to landslides at Brarimarg,” said Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal Dr Piyush.

The yatra was suspended on Wednesday due to landslides at Brarimarg and Rail Pathri in which three pilgrims had died and several injured.
