Amid downpour, several people came on the road in Banihal to lodge their protest against Kashmir trucker’s killing.
Zahid from South Kashmir’s Batingo village was charred by goons in the intervening night of September 9-10. After being hospitalized for many days, Zahid succumbed to his burn injuries yesterday at Delhi’s Safdarjung Hospital.
“We strongly condemn Zahid’s killing,” the protesters who burned tyre in main market Banihal said. “It is an attempt to derail the peace and communal harmony of the state.”
Pertinently, all separatists while condemning the killing had called for Kashmir shutdown yesterday. While castigating Mufti, separatists accused him to bringing RSS to Kashmir.
“We demand Mufti Govt must punish the perpetrators to sent a clear and strong message to disruptive elements,” the protesters said.
