The state cabinet which met here under the chairmanship of CM Mufti Mohammad Sayeed concluded forenoon on Monday.
Kashmir valley is observing a complete shutdown against the death of one of the victims of Udhampur communal mob attack. Zahid Rasool Bhat died in New Delhi on Sunday forenoon. His body was flown to Srinagar in the afternoon and driven to his native village of Botengo.
The cabinet met around 10:00 AM today at civil secretariat here and ended after over an hour. No official was immediately available to inform outcome of the meet. Sources, however, said that some transfers were affected in civil and police administration.
Dhiraj Kumar has been shifted as Principal Secretary Power against Sandeep Naik who will head relief and rehabilitation now. Shailendra Kumar has been posted to Secretary Commerce and Industries. Earlier, he was Secretary Departent of Culture.
This would be last cabinet meet of PDP-BJP coalition government before Durbar officially moves to winter capital, Jammu.
