Amid heightened security, PM Narendra Modi has arrived on his day-long visit to Jammu where he is attending the centenary celebrations of former Jammu and Kashmir finance minister Girdhari Lal Dogra besides is expected to announce development package for Jammu and Kashmir.
Flanked by JK CM Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, Modi visited to view an exhibition on Dogra soon after landing in state’s winter capital.
Modi is likely to announce a development package of around Rs 70,000 crore for Jammu and Kashmir during his visit.
