Amid fresh clouds hovering above Kashmir, the Meteorological Department (MeT) Friday advised people that there is no need of panic as “possibility of heavy rainfall has almost dissipated”.

“Only light to moderate rainfall will lash the valley today,” the MeT said. “As such, there is no need to panic.”

The MeT said there is no possibility of cloudbursts today.

Notably, panic spread across valley Wednesday evening when four cloudbursts were reported from four different places at almost the same time, triggering renewed flood threat in people.
