Advisor to Chief Minister, Prof. Amitabh Mattoo on Sunday released book titled “My Kashmir in Peace and Turbulence”, the story of a native in Exile, written by Prof. B.L. Kaul at a function organized by Vyeth, Socio-Cultural and Literary at Amar Singh Club here.

Addressing the gathering, Advisor to CM lauded the work of Prof. B. L. Kaul and praised the author for bringing out yet another piece of excellent literate

“It is a privilege to be a part of any literary programme of Kashmiri Pandits who were, are and will be continually contributing enormously in the field of literature no matter where they reside and no matter in which environment they are present, “he added.

He further said that thinkers and academicians have a very important role in sharing their past and present experiences with next generation.

Vice Chancellor Cluster University Jammu Prof. Anju Basin, while appreciating the efforts of Prof. Kaul said that it is not an easy job to visualize one’s experience in multiple shades in the form of words but Prof. Kaul seems to have succeeded in his endeavor without mutilating and injuring originality of facts.

Former Chief Vigilance Commission, Kuldeep Khooda in his address said that authors like Prof. Kaul are instrumental in shortening the gap between different states and the countries through their writing technique.

Among others, Former Chief Secretary Vijay Bakaya, a galaxy of writers, poets, academicians and reputed personalities from all walks of life were present on the occasion.
