Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has nominated Anjum Fazilli (MLA) as in-charge of Party’s women Wing for Kashmir province.
Party president Mehbooba Mufti while nominating her for the party post has hoped that she will make the role of women in politics effective and glaring and will ensure greater participation in accomplishing the visionary agenda of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed for the state, a party statement said Tuesday afternoon.
A party spokesperson said that party president has also directed all District and Zone presidents of the party to nominate two representatives to District and Zone Committees in the state from among women and youth. “A circular to this effect was issued asking District presidents and Zone presidents of the party to complete formation of the committees within a week.”
