SRINAGAR: The annual Amarnath yatra is anticipated to commence on June 29 this year, media reports said.
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, also Chairman of the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board, led a meeting at Raj Bhawan to discuss arrangements and preparations for the pilgrimage. Scheduled to last for 52 days, the yatra will conclude on August 19.
Registration for the Yatra is projected to commence next month at various bank branches.
