Annual Urs Sharief Hazrat Shiekh Noor-ud-Din Wali (R.A) at historic town of Charari-Sharief is scheduled to start from October 1, 2013.
The Urs celebrations will begin with Poshak Bandi (Laying of Chadder) on the Mausoleum of the revered saint on October1, 2013, followed by Shab Khwani and Darood-u-Azkar Mehfil on October 2. The main function will be on October 3, 2013. The urs celebrations will continue upto October 11, 2013.
Minister for Finance & Ladakh Affairs, Abdul Rahim Rather Monday convened a meeting of the District Administration Budgam at Civil Secretariat Srinagar to give final touches to the arrangements for Urs Sharief.
