SRINAGAR: A day after a young lawyer was found hanging on a tree in Budgam, another youth was found hanging in Kupwara.
Identified as Jaffar Ahmad Najar, 25, son of Wali Mohammad Najar, the young man was traced hanging on a tree in his Gutlipora village. Though the residents rushed him quickly to a sub-district hospital in Kupwara, the doctors declared him brought dead.
The Jammu and Kashmir Police have taken cognizance of the hanging and registered a case. Investigations have started. It was not immediately known if the body was sent for a mandatory autopsy.
Police sources said they will be investigating all the angles of the incident. Though apparently, it looks like a suicide, it can not be said till it is established.
